My name is Thomas James Lodato. I am PhD student in Digital Media within the School of Literature, Communication, and Culture at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.

My interests deal with several ideas:
objects as epistemology (object-oriented ontology, actor-network theory, etc.)
design of/as/and intervention
scientific representations (particularly of the body)
sensoria, sensing, and sensors

I am a co-founder of two groups:
blackmetalrobotdeath, an art collective interested in the construction of contests as art.
The Hairpin Foundry, a design group developed around the concept of equitable design through practice and outreach.
